THE PROBLEM


iCollege T&D brands (AIT, Coder Academy, and ISCD) had not been focusing on SEO best practices, and this was identified as a major issue compared to our competitors.


Part of my role is to work with a digital agency to implement SEO recommendations across the brands in order to increase our organically sourced web traffic, build awareness of the three brands, and regain the competitive edge in the organic search results.

THE PLAN


Working with a digital agency, a content writer, a web development team, and internal stakeholders, I have led the following projects for the three brands:


  • Implementing SEO into the content strategy, including keyword research and a backlinking strategy.


  • Secured all Google Business brand pages (seven in total), implemented a content strategy for regular updates, and enabled the messaging function for customers to use as an additional communication channel with those brands.


  • Created a blog content strategy that includes both new content and auditing of existing blog content.

THE RESULTS


  • 33% increase in leads sourced from organic traffic.


  • Increased website speed optimisation performance per user device:
    • ISCD - Desktop 73% | Mobile 357%
    • Coder - Desktop 8% | Mobile 266%
    • AIT - Desktop 6% | Mobile 290%


  • Increased profile interactions including website clicks to the Google Business brand pages in the Q2 period:
    • AIT - 7558 interactions
    • Coder Academy - 2563 interactions
    • ISCD - 1415 interactions
